Huatulco Travel Information - Bahias de Huatulco has a beautiful International Airport about 30 minutes from the hotel areas. There is a new first class bus station serving Huatulco. Bus service to Mexico City travels through Acapulco or Oaxaca City. Either route is about 14 hours. The bus ride through Oaxaca is very beautiful However, it is a very windy mountain road. There are a great variety of reptiles including the black and green iguana and several species of turtles. There are 227 registered bird species from which 11 are endemic of this area. Huatulco is rich in sea life with many species of fish, oysters, lobster, clams, shrimp, and snails. The black and white coral off the shores is home to many species of water life. |
