Mexico Tourism Board US Public Relations Agency
Miami, Florida - After a bidding process done by the Mexico Tourism Board, Newlink became the agency responsible for its public relations effort in the United States market. The Mexico Tourism Board is responsible for creating strategies that promote tourism, nationally and internationally, with the participation of different sectors of the tourism industry.

The latest report on tourism by the World Tourism Organization expressed that in 2006, Mexico was the eighth destination in the world with the largest arrival of international tourists. 21.4 million visitors spent 12,200 millions of dollars in Mexico. The USA was the principal source of tourists for Mexico, representing 85 percent of the total of international tourists visiting the country.

Newlink, in coordination with the Mexico Tourism Board in Mexico City and its six offices in the United States (Washington D.C., Chicago, New York, Los Angeles, Houston, and Miami), will create innovative public relations strategies that include the use of technological resources, and will take into consideration the consumer segment, the media and the tourism industry representatives.
